We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes,watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste,organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we aregoing to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from whichsomething else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metalproducts and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, theybecome waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper willbecome waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants touse a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of brokenglasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics isincreasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. Whenthey get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to theenvironment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic wasteis produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Someof our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and thebottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in ourlife. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a longtime and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down bynature. This is really a big problem.

It's my great honor to be invited here to give a speech on environment.Aswe all know the environment is very important to us. Because it has a greateffect on us.So we should protect our environment .
In fact ,we can do many things to improve environment such as plantingtrees, collecting waste paper, write to the local newspapers to remind everybodyto take care of it.The most important thing is,I think ,to let everybody knowits importance and everybody should make a contribution to it .
As long as we try, we can make it. We strongly believe that we can do it!

On a Saturday morning. I went to have breakfast. I felt there was aterrible smell and went over to have a look carefully. I found that there was abig pile of banana skins giving out the smell.Just then a young fellow holding adustpan rubbish to walk towards here . He raised his hands, The big pile ofrubbish was here. At once I went to him and said “Uncle , you can’t do like this. These things will rot very soon. It’s bad for our health and make the peoplefall ill.” However ,the man said “Everyone does so ,who falls ill,who will seethe doctor.”
Looking at this , I remembered another act : There is a stream through ourvillage. Over it there are two bridges .At the age of seven years old , Ienjoyed the beautiful scenery under the bridge very much. It was the best placeto swim in summer. But now the rubbish was getting more and more .Dishleaves,fruit skins,dead ducks and chickens….after rotting ,not only themosquitos flew around but also the bad smell made everyone feel quiteterrible.Though the stream was cleaned up several times, it’s still happeningnow. A lot of plastic bags always float on it .In summmer we have to go far awayfrom the village to swim.
What causes this? Who is the devil?It’s the human ourselves. I have got toknown from a book .The rubbish in the countryside mostly occupies the fields anddamages the earth’s surface .It pollutes soil,wave ,atmosphere and damages ourhealth. The adults often say “The body is capital.” But why are they able tomake woollen cloth like this ? Does it affect everybody’s safe and sound life?
Schoolmates, we are the host of society tomorrow . It’s our duty to improveand build the safe invironment.
Safety is in our hands .We must take park in more environmental protectionactivities, Plant more trees and flowers to make us live in a beautiful homewith the blue sky ,blue water and green land forever.
Safety is in our hands . Please try your best to tell people around you todeal with the rubbish , and to make a contribution to building our safe hometome.
在一个星期六的早上。我去吃早餐。我感到有一股难闻的气味，走过去仔细看看。我发现香蕉皮发出的气味一大堆。这时，一个年轻人拿着簸箕垃圾走到这里。他举起双手，垃圾堆在这里。我立刻去对他说：“叔叔，你不能这样做。这些事情会很快腐烂。这对我们的健康是坏的，使人们生病。”不过，他说，“每个人都这么做，谁生病了，谁会去看医生。”
看这个，我记得还有一幕：有在我们村里流。它有两座桥。七岁的时候，我喜欢美丽的风景桥下很。它是在夏天最好的地方。但现在垃圾越来越多。菜叶子，果实皮，烂后死亡鸭和鸡的…，不仅蚊子到处乱飞，而且每个人都难闻的气味很可怕。虽然流清洗几次，它仍然发生了。很多塑料袋总是浮在上面的。夏天我们要去远离乡村游。
这是什么原因造成的?谁是魔鬼?这是人类自己。我要知道从一本书。在农村，大多处在域和损害地球表面的垃圾。它污染土壤，大气波，并损害我们的健康。人们常说“身体是本钱。”但是他们为什么能这样呢?它影响到每个人的安全和健康的生活吗?
同学们，我们是社会的主人的明天。这是构建完善的安全环境是我们的责任。
安全掌握在我们手中。我们必须参加更多的环保活动，更多的树木和鲜花，让我们生活在蓝天一所漂亮的房子，蓝水，绿色的土地永远。

When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country.There were many flowers and trees around our city.We counld hear the birdssinging and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air wasvery fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that itwould be come true! So I think we should do something to protect ourenvironment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.
Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you cando something around your neighbourhood.
Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawnpictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cutdown trees?If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helpedprotect our environment.
It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might askyourself,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have Iever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted anytrees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes",it meansthat you have already done something useful to improve the environment.
